QR code for your Google review link

Paste the review link from your Google Business Profile, check it, and print a code that takes customers straight to the form for a review.

This tool needs JavaScript. The rest of the page works without it.

Printed under the heading of the sign or cards. It is not part of the code.

Error correction

A higher level keeps the code readable when part of it is dirty or damaged, but needs more modules.

PNG size

Approximate width of the PNG image. The SVG file can be scaled to any size.

Colours and logo (optional)

Contrast 100%: good.

Logo (optional)

An image from this device, placed in the middle of the code. It is not uploaded. With a logo the code uses error correction H.

What this tool does

It makes a static QR code that contains the review link of your business exactly as Google gives it to you. The code does not pass through any other service and has no trial period: it works as long as Google keeps the link working.

The tool checks that the link is a Google link and whether it opens the review form or only your profile, adds optional colours and a logo, checks that the finished image reads back, and offers print layouts for a sign, a folding table card or eight business-card-sized cards.

Google’s own Business Profile can also show a QR code for the same link. Use this page if you want the check, colours, a logo or ready-made print layouts.

How to get your review link

Google describes these steps in its Business Profile help (last checked on 29 September 2026; Google changes its screens from time to time):

  1. On a computer, sign in with the Google account that manages your Business Profile and open the profile, for example by searching for the name of your business on Google.
  2. Select “Read reviews”, then “Get more reviews”.
  3. Select “Copy” next to the link.

Google’s help says that the link and its QR code are shown only in a browser on a computer, not in the Google Maps app. At the time of writing the link usually starts with https://g.page/r/ and ends with /review; Google’s help page does not state the format.

How to use it

  1. Paste the link into “Review link of your business”.
  2. Optionally enter the name of your business; it is printed on the sign and the cards, not stored in the code.
  3. Choose colours or a logo if you like, and press “Create QR code”.
  4. Scan the preview with your phone. It should open the form for a review of your business.
  5. Download the code, or choose a layout under “Print a sign or cards” and print it.

Worked example

A bakery copies its link from “Get more reviews”. It starts with https://g.page/r/, continues with a code (12 characters in this example) and ends with /review, 36 characters in all. The tool recognises the review form link. The text of the code is exactly that address, 36 bytes, which gives a version 3 code of 29 × 29 modules at level M. On the sign the code is printed 120 mm wide; on a card 40 mm, about 1 mm per module.

If the bakery pastes a Google Maps link from maps.app.goo.gl instead, the tool still makes the code but warns that customers will land on the profile and have to find the review button themselves.

Which links are accepted

  • Review form: the short link from “Get more reviews”, which starts with https://g.page/r/ and ends with /review.
  • Review form: a link to search.google.com with the path /local/writereview and the Place ID of the business in the parameter placeid. Some tools build this link from the Place ID. It is not described in Google’s help, and we have not tested it with every business.
  • Profile only, accepted with a warning: links from Google Maps (maps.app.goo.gl, goo.gl/maps, google.com/maps), g.co/kgs share links and other g.page links.
  • Everything else is refused, including links without https. For any other address use the link and text QR code generator.

The check looks at the form of the link only. It cannot tell whether the code in the link belongs to your business, so scan the preview before you print.

Rules for asking for reviews

Google’s policies for reviews do not allow offering money, discounts, free goods or services in exchange for a review, or for changing or removing a negative one. They also do not allow asking only happy customers for reviews or discouraging negative ones. The default heading of the print therefore asks every customer for their opinion.

This page is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google. Google is a trademark of Google LLC; the name is used here only to describe what the link is for, and the prints do not use Google’s logo or colours.

Common mistakes

  • Printing a Maps link instead of the review link. Customers then land on the profile, and fewer of them find the review button.
  • Cutting off part of the link when copying it. Scan the preview and check that the form opens.
  • Printing the code so small that it is hard to scan from where customers stand. The page shows the printed width and the size of one module.
  • Promising a discount or a gift for a review, which Google does not allow.

Frequently asked questions

Does the code expire?
No. It contains the link itself and does not depend on this site. It stops working only if Google stops supporting that link, for example after the Business Profile is removed.
Is this an official Google tool?
No. This page is not affiliated with Google. It turns the link that Google gives you into a code and print layouts; the review itself is written on Google.
Why does my link only open the profile?
Links from Google Maps and share links open the profile page. Copy the link under “Read reviews”, then “Get more reviews” in your Business Profile; that link opens the form for a review.
Can I offer a discount for a review?
Google’s policies do not allow incentives for reviews, and they do not allow asking only satisfied customers. Ask every customer in the same way.
Is the link sent to your server?
No. The code is made in your browser, and the page sends nothing that you type. The link is public anyway once it is printed.
